My name is Angelina but I go by Angie most of the time.

I am new to ACE, my first and last year here. I am 18 and of course the best zodiac sign. A leo!! I am a very hands-on type of person. I love to paint, listen to music to the point I can't hear anybody, hangout with friends and just make the best out of what's given to me with a smile on my face.

It wasn't always rainbows and sunshine though. I used to live in Queens, New York with my mom and just a few years ago I moved in with my dad. I noticed when I first moved to Connecticut I had no motivation and had given up on myself. I won't go into detail about it but it was definitely rough.

Later I found something that became my escape from reality. Which is painting, it helps calm me down and see the painting come to life overtime through different strokes of color. After high school I have had my mind set on becoming a beauty specialist, specializing in hair and nails and maybe even makeup down that line. I want to start my own business for these things and attend cosmetology school to get the practice I need and my license. I plan on opening a business close to clients but not directly around where I live.

Lately, I have been finding courage to get up and do things and find my interest in other things. My aunt is a hairdresser and maybe that's where I get my love for cosmetology from. As everyone wants to be successful in life as do I, I plan on going big with my business and someday get to see it come all together. I also want to say that coming to ACE was definitely one of the best decisions I made in my life. This school helped me open my eyes a lot and made me realize how much better I could be if I just put in that extra effort.
