Breakfast with Santa is an event that has been hosted by ACE Staff and Students for many years.
It is a great event that gets everyone together before the Christmas holiday season. It shows appreciation, spreads the holiday spirit and provides an opportunity for students to give back to the people that show love to the ACE family.
Students volunteer their time and energy to mix pancake batter, make pancakes, and serve the guests. They provide fun activities for children such as face painting and arts and crafts, and festive music. So while you’re getting your grub on, your kids will be getting their fun on!
The week before the event, Glenda’s Human Services class prepares flyers to send home with every elementary student in the district, and they are busy decorating the halls and turning the school into a festive atmosphere.
This year student leaders from our Teen Outreach Program are designing and setting up the arts and crafts for our young visitors to enjoy while waiting for their pictures with Santa.
Former ACE Students that served over the years loved it, they loved seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces and just the pure happiness and love that goes around every year.
One former student that is now our current substitute teacher, Haley Ahrstrom, explains that she “always loved coming to our ACE Breakfast With Santa’s because it gets everyone together and it’s also a good way to spread the Christmas spirit while having fun and creating childhood memories”
The best part about this event is that IT’S OPEN TO ALL, so why not come stop by on December 20th of any year and come enjoy the holiday spirit with ACE!
This year, the cost for the event is $12 for a framed photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus, $8 for an adult’s pancake breakfast, and $6 for a child’s breakfast.
