ACE students attended this year’s Comic Con on Thursday, October 9th. Comic Con is a four-day convention in New York that celebrates the pop culture of comic books, video games, animated movies, and anime. Our school social worker, DJ, explains how Comic Con in New York is like an East Coast version of the San Diego one.
Comic Con is a really fun convention for people who love all those things, or it can be really fun for those looking to find new hobbies or interests. The first day of Comic Con in New York is tomorrow, from October 9th to the 12th. It is at the New York Comic Con Convention.
Comic con consists of comic books, a lot of walking around, shops, costumes, special guests, photos/photographers, and a lot more fun stuff. So if you’re into adventures and trying new things, I would really recommend going to Comic Con.
You won’t be bored, and you will definitely meet new people and see new things.
Visitors enjoy taking pictures with famous people in the industry and fans dressed in Cosplay.
