Spring is almost here and ACE is getting ready for it by having ACE’s first spring clean up the week of April 4th. Anyone can come and help clean up ACE. ACE encourages  people to come and make an effort to make the school  look better. John Strout, a sophomore, will be conducting the event. He says, “I think its an awesome chance for ACE students to give back to the school that’s done so much for them.”

On the five days of clean up, ACE will be touching up the walls with paint, racking up leaves, and picking up all the torn up asphalt, sticks and piles of dirt left from plowed snow and any trash that’s around the building. As a student at ACE I believe we should give a little to our school. It will show people that we do care about our school. John Strout commented, “A small number of students came to the organizational meeting on March 28th – about six, but I roughly estimate that 30 kids will come at least one day and ten will stay for the whole week.”

Tim Natale, a senior,  says, “I think its helpful to our community, because an event like this shows people that we care about our school and everything that surrounds our school.”  Caroline Henry, a junior,  explained,  “I think that the ACE spring cleanup is a good way for people to give back to ACE. It will show them that we do care about our image.”

Starting on Monday April 4th at 2:00 going on all week, ACE is going to have the look that it deserves.
