Joanne’s Visit to Romania by Zachary Cole

Joanne’s Romanian school visit
By Zachary Cole
When Joanne left she left with 6 teens and 8 adults and when she arrived in Romania she went to the school that had 68 students at Machiova. Joanne is thinking of starting pen pals with the students at Machiova, and also sending them stuff like school supplies and other things that they need. I really hope these students get what they need for school and hope they have a good life

Joanne and the people from her church were waiting to leave for Romania; they started packing the night before their wonderful trip. When they arrived at the airport they couldn’t find Austrian air terminal but then they ended up finding the air terminal. When they arrived in Romania at the Apa Vie entrance, as soon as they walked in there was a beautiful courtyard with grape vines all around them.

Laying over at Vienna Airport on our way to Romania.

The next day which was Sunday morning and they went and did Sunday morning service. After they did Sunday morning service, they broke up in to two teams and went to different churches. One team that was walking to one of the churches and saw a unique bridge and stopped and took pictures. The next team went to a different church to help rebuild it for the students because it was broken down and about to fall apart.

Monday morning when they were in Romania they went in to a hallway to worship with each other. Some lady that lives in Romania was cooking in the kitchen and some one from the church was helping her make lunch. Then they all help clean up and made everything nice and neat for other people to come in and eat.

Tuesday they help split firewood in the back yard of some nice ladies house for a fire. Then that night they all went out to a beautiful restaurant for dinner. Then the next few days were the same thing just helping, cleaning up, teaching other students and helping them with their schoolwork that needed to be done.

Learning how to communicate across continents!

Joanne and her friends at the church were packing up their stuff to go home and tell every one about their trip to Romania and how great it was.
