Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior in which someone intentionally and repeatedly causes another person injury or discomfort. Bullying can take the form of physical contact, words or more subtle actions. Who’s being bullied? What type of bullying is this?
At our school ACE (Alternative center of excellence), bullying doesn’t usually occur. Most of our students just keep to themselves. With the school being smaller of course if there is bullying everyone would hear about it. Meaning teachers and students. Everybody has respect for each other and everyone also spreads kindness.
When I interviewed Melissa, she said “that she’s seen a bunch of bullying in school with students and also experienced bullying herself.” During the interview I also asked her “how much bullying she sees in a day. Melissa thinks there isn’t a lot going on in our school. She thinks that kids just get annoyed with what other students have to say.
When I asked Dominic and Michael if they’ve seen bullying, they said no. But they think teachers mostly get bullied. They both said that “teachers get treated badly because some students don’t like doing their work.
Students just talk back a lot. “Some students really take it to another level by arguing with teachers and that’s not okay at all. “
However, bullies might be going through something at home or they even got bullied before. A lot of hurt people tend to hurt others and take out their frustrations and anger on them.
