Being true to yourself can get you farther in life then you can ever imagine. People are always thinking about what other people think of them which is just hurting you and slowing you down in the long run. People should be able to love themselves for who they are and not worry about what anyone else thinks. Putting yourself first is what’s important to succeeding and loving yourself.
Understanding You
Loving yourself is like giving your soul a cozy hug, it’s all about accepting who you are, flaws and all. When people accept their flaws and mistakes that leads to more success, as you can recognize where you went wrong. This can help make anyone bounce back from any mishap that they’ve faced. But being able to just love yourself out of nowhere isn’t easy. The root starts when you’re a kid and you start school and grow up. You start to see how everyone is different and unique in their own way.
At that age where you as a kid where you want to make friends and fit in with everyone else, is when you realize that you’re you in your own way. Getting to know your own personality is just as significant as getting to know someone else. Once you learn more about yourself you will also learn how to approach situations. As a kid if someone didn’t want to be your friend or if you didn’t even have any friends was usually a really big insecurity for most kids. This can cause self-doubting like you’re not good enough or there’s something wrong with you. But this is where practicing to love yourself comes in to make a difference.

Overall learning to love yourself is a process, a process in which you feel like you’re making progress but then it all goes downhill. You will have your ups and downs days, but each day you will learn something from it.
