What is ACE? Why does everyone love ACE? ACE is a place where everyone is safe and welcome; a place to start over and reinvent yourself in a positive light. This year, we have 23 new students who are here for a variety of different reasons. As students, ACE allows us to grow and prosper when it comes to our education while also helping us to learn and maintain a level of independence and strength out in the real world.
Navari Droz, who is a senior and new to ACE this year says that his favorite thing about ACE is the one on one relationships that students build with staff. Here at ACE, both staff and previous students make it a priority to build positive relationships with students. Navari started at ACE this year on August 31st which was the first day of school. On a scale from 1-10 Navari would rate ACE a 9 out of 10 because no place is perfect but he enjoys the fact that ACE is a more personable place when it comes to bonds that are built between the students who go here and staff that work here.
Another new student at ACE, Ariana West, who is a junior at ACE and recently started this September. Ariana enjoys listening to music, art and fashion. Ariana says that her favorite part of ACE is, “The fact that ACE gives us a smaller and more accepting place to express ourselves and find our creativity. We welcome the new students with open arms into our ACE family.
