As the graduates of our school prepare to leave and start their next chapter of their lives, many students realize how everything becomes memories that could be looked back at with nostalgia. ACE students have a unique opportunity to be celebrated with two graduation ceremonies. They have an ACE Graduation that is held at Broadview Middle School on June 10th, and the DHS Graduation on June 11th.
At ACE, we have January graduates who return for the June Graduation celebrations, and this year we have about 15-20 students graduating. Some students may not know if they have passed all of their classes and are graduating until the very last day of classes, so at this point in time it is difficult to give an exact number. One student who is preparing for Graduation, Leticia Saldanha, known as Lilly, has been at ACE for 4 years. She says that even though she is sad to leave, she knows she has some good memories at ACE. Even the seniors, who are sad to be leaving behind the familiarity of school life, will be with pride as they reflect on the memories they’ve made.
